Gov’t will enforce local food purchases across state institutionsDeputy Minister for Finance, Thomas Nyarko Ampem, says he will recommend that all state institutions, not only schools, be directed to buy locally produced rice and other food items as part of government efforts to support farmers and reduce food glut.
