Listeners, we bring you a heartbreaking report from the Jaman North District. The quiet community of Duadaso is mourning the untimely death of a young woman whose dreams were just beginning to blossom.

Anane Florence, a midwife awaiting posting, had her future laid out before her. She was set to marry her longtime fiancé from the diaspora on August 2, 2025. But that dream has been tragically cut short.

Reports confirm that Florence was traveling from Sampa to Suma with her elder sister Georgina, and Georgina’s 7-year-old daughter, when their motorbike was struck by a speeding vehicle — believed to be a Toyota Tundra.

The impact was so severe that Florence and the little girl died on the spot. Georgina survived but sustained serious injuries. She has since been transferred from the Sampa Government Hospital to Wenchi Methodist Hospital for critical care.

The driver of the vehicle is reportedly on the run, and the police have launched a full-scale manhunt to bring the suspect to justice.
