Akutuase chiefs reject proposed mining activities, cite fears of environmental harm

The chiefs and elders of Akutuase in the Amantena Electoral Area of the Ashanti Region have opposed the introduction of mining activities on their land, warning that such operations would cause environmental and social damage to their communities.
